The initiv ® back patch is made of non-woven polypropylene, covered with an adhesive layer containing ReflecTech ® bioceramic mineral particles (titanium dioxide*). These particles reflect the infrared energy emitted by the body towards the painful area of the back. The initiv ® patch provides relief for up to five days from acute (short-term) musculoskeletal pain.
- Titanium dioxide*: ReflecTech ® mineral particles that reflect infrared energy.
- Hyperbranched polyalphaolefin (PAO): gives the patch viscosity and flexibility.
- Acylates/VA Copolymer: acts as an adhesive.
- Polypropylene fabric: support.
- Silicone release paper: protective backing for the adhesive layer.
Dyes:
- Coloring base:
- Acrylic copolymer: binder.
- Acrylic polymer: thickener.
- Water: solvent.
- Pigments: color.
* The titanium dioxide contained in the initiv ® patch does not penetrate healthy skin when the patch is applied.
