NEXGARD is a palatable chewable tablet for dogs weighing 2 to 4 kg. It protects against flea and tick infestations and is suitable for the prevention and control of external parasites. The tablet is formulated for easy oral administration.

Indications
Treatment of flea infestations. Treatment of tick infestations. Treatment of demodicosis caused by Demodex canis. Treatment of sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis.

Directions for use
For a dog weighing 2 to 4 kg, administer one 11 mg tablet. Administer monthly during infestation seasons and according to the local epidemiological situation. For demodicosis, treat monthly until two negative skin scrapings are obtained, spaced one month apart. For sarcoptic mange, administer monthly for two consecutive months and extend if necessary according to clinical assessment. The tablets are palatable and can be given with food if the dog does not accept the tablet alone. Fleas and ticks must attach and begin feeding to be exposed to the active substance.
